Red Haired Boy

Most people play Red Haired boy with a Capo on 2 but I’ve always enjoyed playing it in open position. It’s an A mixolydian tune so it is not dissimilar from playing in D major. One of the nice things about playing it from an A position is that the bVII chord is G which offers a great opportunity to break out some bluesy G licks during solos.
